This view north to Sheep Pen Peak is from the east ridge of Grouse Creek Mountain and looks across the chasm of Sheep Pen Basin. I had to climb over Grouse Creek Mountain to get to Sheep Pen Peak.

From the summit of 10850' Sheep Pen Peak the view is SW across the canyon of Grouse Creek to the main crest Pahsimeroi/LRR. On left- McGowan Peak 10716', on right- Linebacker Peak 10620'. In the distance are Boulder and White Cloud peaks. Cairn placed on Sheep Pen Peak 5/29/07.
