A while ago I bought 20 fish at $5-$10
apiece. Some of the fish were rainbow tetras. Two were albino sharks. Some
the fish were bottom feeders and would wait for the food that I sprinkled
in to float to the bottom. Unfortunately, the bottom feeders died first.
They only lived for about a week. One day when I was feeding my fish I noticed
that the water was brown and hot and 2 fish were dead. I think the heater
malfunctioned and was too hot and warmed the water to a temperature that
the fish could not survive. The rest were dead in the morning.
I may get some new fish in the future, but I need to get a better heater. I had a pet bird one time called Johnson, a cockateal, but he flew away.
One day my step-mom left the door to the house open while Johnson was
out of his cage and escaped. Some day I would like to get another bird.
